Well, aside from always having chocolate on hand :)..here goes…
ValuRisk Partners is model risk consulting firm serving banks and credit unions. We help financial institutions build confidence in their models and risk decisions through thoughtful, practical, and highly engaged consulting.
The gift we strive to bring is clarity, trust, and relief in areas that are often complex and high-pressure. We listen (really listen!!) before we advise, taking the time to understand our clients’ true pain points, constraints, and internal realities rather than just the technical issue on paper.
We pay close attention to the details that matter in practice, not just in theory, and we are highly responsive throughout the engagement. Our goal is not to “deliver expertise,” but to partner with clients to solve real problems in a way that makes their work more defensible, usable, and trusted.
Wow, Josh, that’s a lot of value (in addition to the chocolate). It sounds like you do the hard work to be a practical, tactical partner for your clients. Thanks for kicking off the sharing today!
The benefit we create to our customers (primarily CxOs & heads of production & operations) is their piece of mind, as they know the digital transformation projects we run for them are under control, on time and on budget. They feel confident about them as they have information and status at their fingertips all the time.
They know we dig deep and share the insights and lessons learned with their teams, which make them better. They all grow in digital competences which helps them run their manufacturing business with more confidence and higher efficiency.
You’re reducing stress and anxiety for your clients. That’s a huge benefit Tomaž. I appreciate your sharing.
I benefit my clients by offering them a perspective distinct from their “groupthink” that opens up new possibilities for them. I am able to do this because I am a polymath with experience across numerous disciplines and industry sectors. This experience has afforded me a large quiver of perspectives that I use to cross-fertilize the traditional thinking of those with more focused expertise.
Your wide-ranging experience and expertise is definitely a boon for clients that want an outside perspective. Few people have the ability to connect so many disparate dots, Jeff. I appreciate your sharing your gifts.
David,
I hope that you had a rewarding Hannukah with your family and wish you a new year of health, joy, and prosperity.
I love the work that you do. If I didn’t violate one of your first tenets (focus narrowly), I would likely benefit from working with you.
Jeff
Thank you, Jeff. FYI, we’re not dogmatic at my firm. We encourage firms to adopt certain principles that we’ve seen work well–for instance a narrow focus. However, plenty of our clients follow different paths to success. (In fact, one of our clients-only pieces of IP is “5 Routes to a Sustainable Boutique” which outlines very distinct approaches to the same end goal.) You can always join our “family.” ????
We help digital health companies support their extraordinary claims with extraordinary evidence! By benchmarking how they’re doing in the peer-reviewed literature we can give them a clear strategic roadmap on what evidence can “plug the gaps” and we give them training, upgraded processes, and writing support to ensure their messages hit the mark. We follow this up by supporting their marketing and PR teams so spread the good word on LinkedIn, blogs, events, webinars, and podcasts. In the past couple of years that means that incredible digital health technologies have been featured in high impact outlets from Natured Medicine to the New York Times.
Their patients living with conditions like depression, migraine, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease benefit from products that treat their symptoms, make it easier to take part in research trials, or support one another through adversity.
Happy holidays David and team!
You’re clearly creating value at multiple levels, Paul, extending well beyond your immediate clients. You have every right to feel enormously proud of the gifts you give the world. Thanks for telling me and other readers about your practice.
Happiness. Often my clients don’t realize it, but what I’m really selling is happiness. Helping them double their revenue is the easy part. Teaching them how to be happy along the way is more challenging because having enough money not to worry about money is just one of the 4 major sources of happiness. Rock on David, and happy holidays!
Happiness. That totally tracks for who you are, Doc. Kudos to you for seeing beyond the surface benefits you provide and for focusing on the long-term wins for the individuals. Impressive and inspiring!
